The good, the bad, and the wet
Hey guys! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and possible extra day off.
I was back in Michigan for the weekend and had plenty of up’s and down’s over the weekend. It seemed like a perfect opportunity to borrow Carrots ‘N’ Cake high and low weekend recap format to share my weekend.
High – Jeff and I were back in Michigan!
Low – It rained all day Friday so it was hard to walk around and check out campus while Jeff was busy all day.
High – I got Noodles & Company for lunch and got a free mac and cheese for national noodle day!
Low – Campus was crazy/packed Friday night.
High – We got pizza house to go and spent the night watching Star Wars and drinking pumpkin beer with Chris!
High – We got cider and donuts from Wiard’s Orchard Saturday Morning.
Low – The orchard was bee city (which is actually a good thing population wise for the bees so I’m not really too upset).
High – We got to see so many awesome friends (many not pictured) Saturday before the game at various tail gates.
High – Free food in the Diag
High – We were invited to the president’s tailgate at the Crisler Center through Organizational Studies (Jeff’s college major which had their annual meeting Friday that Jeff was invited back for).
Low – It poured during the third quarter and we lost.
Low – Sava’s buffet brunch doesn’t start till 10 am on Sunday’s (we got there at 9).
High – We ended up going to Frank’s which was tasty as always and much cheaper.
High – We went to our first Lions game!
Low – We lost (football was not our thing this weekend … maybe we were bad luck)
High – We got to enjoy some time with Karly and Ross, which included a quick sail and a great meal.
Low – I couldn’t stop sneezing! Not sure if it was a product of the wet game or a new cat that I was around
Low – Our flight home was delayed.
High(ish) – We ended up getting in about the same time and I got a chance to get some reading in on the plane.
It’s back to the grind this week with lots to get done before I get to see two more great friends this weekend!
I hope everyone is reading something good!
